Beauty Tip Tuesday: How to grow your nails FASTER and LONGER!

Welcome to Beauty Tip Tuesday girls! A new beauty segment where I will be giving you simple beauty tips that have helped me! This week is all about nails!

For the longest time I’ve always wanted longer, stronger nails without having the need to get them professionally done or with the help of press on nails. However, strong nails were just not part of my DNA apparently as my nails would chip and break at the slightest of pressure applied to them.

So as I was walking down Costco one day I noticed these Hair, Skin and Nails vitamin gummies  and decided to give them a shot!

Long story short: Best thing that ever happened to my nails and hair!

The first difference I saw were in my nails! They were stronger, longer and looked as if I had acrylic nails! Not to mention I went about 4 weeks with them being that long and strong and no chips/splits/breaks  whatsoever! I took 2 gummies a day for about 3 months and saw my hair grow out super quick on the 3rd month! The only thing I am still on the fence on is the “skin” benefit part of it. I have been taking these for a total of 6 months and have yet to see a noticeable difference in my skin. (Personally, I find that drinking 72 oz. of water does the trick for your skin!)

Ending thoughts about this products: Totally BUY! It is fantastic for hair and nails (not so much skin) and they’re quite easy to take versus the soft gels they also sell.

The hard part is actually remembering to take them every single day, but that is beside the point 😉

Part 2 of Beauty Tip Tuesday: Nail Polish Holder Ring?! Fab or Fail?!

Alright for part two of our beauty tip Tuesday is about the decorating part of your nails!

I cannot be the only one who struggles with the nail polish bottle while trying to paint my nails either in my car, at the park, at school, etc. and just plain anywhere I need quick color touch up! The nail polish spills on the expensive carpet (and someone is about to give me an hour long lecture about how much that carpet was), never being able to reach the bottom of the bottle, smudging galore, and the more universally known problem, shaky hands!

Well all of those problems have made a wonderful and downright GENUIS solution:

Friends allow me to introduce you to…….

It’s as simple as 1, 2,3 !

You place your nail polish bottle at the crown.

Next, you wear it as a ring. (Fits all sizes and is adjustable to your fingers.

Finally, you cut in HALF your time, because you’re that much cooler than everyone else with this contraption! 😉

  1. I may have to try the vitamins! I’m blessed with good nails, but would love my hair to grow a bit faster!

  2. I’ve seen those holders, and wondered if they worked! Are they hard to balance with the nail polish bottle in it? And every girl should take hair, skin, and nails vitamins! They have helped my hair a lot. I don’t take this specific brand, but it’s probably a lot the same 😉

    • Yes !! Not at all! The nail polish holder grips on to the bottle and you can lean it so many different ways and won’t spill! And exactly!! Biotin is amazing for the nails and hair!

  3. I’ll have to try this. i tried a tablet form with no success. Now, I’m testing collagen tablets for my skin. Nothing noticeable yet. I agree with you, water has been the best for my skin. That’s all I drink and I pay a price if I don’t drink enough. Massage helps too!
